Yachting Holidays on the Norfolk Broads

The Richard Denyer Archive

We are pleased to include within our website, a sample of the photographic archive of renowned Broadland Norfolk photographer, the late Richard Denyer. Richard was a renowned freelance photographer, exhibition curator, and lecturer at Norwich School of Art & Design, but sadly he died suddenly in 2015. We continue to show two of his original archives that provide a remarkable insight into very different aspects of what was his work in Broadland Norfolk, presented here for your interest. The first, perhaps unusually in the light of today’s technological advancements, is a black & white study called "Still Waters", whilst the second is a more conventional presentation of colour photography, which none the less exudes his unique style and personal perspective. Those that already know the area, will find many scenes warmly familiar, and to those who have yet to visit us, as a local man I can only add that I believe these pictures undoubtedly show the most accurate, pertinent and frequently "warts and all" view on England’s finest wetland wilderness. Richard Denyer is warmly remembered by us.

"Still Waters" is also published in print form and available from us, please email me directly if you would like to a buy a copy.
