The tabernacle is installed onto the load bearing foot and the main beam. Designed to shoulder the compressional force of a sail plan of up to a 1000 sq.ft, the whole assembly is massively constructed, the taberbacle being 2" x 6" selected oak fastened to the main beam of 5" x 5" Iroko which is laminated to the appropriate deck crop (camber). As a separate but no less important function, the assembly will also safely accomodate the weight and motion of the counterbalanced mast, which all up will weigh in at perhaps three quarters of a ton. Also at this stage, the floor plan is laid out and the various storage tanks installed (2 water, 2 diesle & 1 waste tank)>
